Global Media Strategy
Champalimaud, a multi-disciplinary interior-design and planning firm led by Alexandra Champalimaud, was commissioned to re-design the historic Gainsborough Bath Spa, a five star luxury spa and hotel in Bath, England and UNESCO World Heritage site. The Brandman Agency was tasked with ensuring that all media coverage of the project encompassed a specific Champalimaud-design narrative.
The Brandman Agency identified the need for a specialized and project-specific strategy, creating a comprehensive media campaign for The Gainsborough Bath Spa. This multifaceted approach consisted of highly-targeted global media appointments with key editors in New York and London, a dedicated design press trip, and tailored media outreach. Included within all of these elements was a hand-crafted design narrative reflecting the most significant messages to be conveyed.
Through these tactics, The Brandman Agency secured exclusive coverage within desired publications including The New York Times as well as numerous pieces throughout top tier lifestyle and travel media such as Departures, Architectural Digest and Wallpaper*. Most importantly, each of these pieces incorporated the specific messaging and campaign themes identified in the brief.
