The Brief

Debuting as the most expensive and prestigious building in Sydney, developer, Wanda One sought to make a big impact with the introduction of its latest building, One Circular Quay. Formerly the landmark Gold Fields House on Sydney Harbour, the large-scale, mixed use development will change the city’s skyline and usher in a new era of luxury accommodations and residences. The Brandman Agency was tasked to announce the project and garner media and sales interest on a global scale.

The Approach

To officially announce the project and engage media, influencers, tastemakers and the Sydney society, The Brandman Agency produced and hosted a high-profile event, inviting guest to bid farewell to the Gold Fields House and usher in One Circular Quay. Hosted at the Museum of Contemporary Art the VIP event included a special performance by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, dazzling firework display and an elegant harbour-side dinner.

The Results

The glamorous and memorable event welcomed 150 distinguished guest including heads of state, leaders of industry and cultural tastemakers from a wide range of arts, design and architecture as well as top tier media and influencers. As a result of this activity, coverage was realized within a variety of target outlets including that nation’s two largest newspapers, The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald.
