Stephanie is instrumental in strategic planning, client service and staff development. But it’s the things that make her tick—creativity, organization, and a great music soundtrack—that ground her as one of the driving forces behind The Brandman Agency.
With more than twelve years’ experience opening award-winning hotels like Raffles Istanbul and The Oberoi, Dubai; and driving tourism to major destinations like Victoria, Australia; South Africa; Barbados and The Bahamas, Stephanie’s focus remains on stellar client service for the world’s most prestigious travel and lifestyle brands.
“Travel offers perspective beyond seeing the world from 30,000 feet in the air. It’s a way to learn about other cultures and customs and try new experiences, but it also helps us see that the world is bigger than what we know, are used to, or are comfortable with. I will never forget my first time in South Africa, the dusty runway, the incredible people and of course, my time at Molori Safari Lodge. Travel can change you.”
“Public relations is in my blood. Both my mother and my aunt worked in travel and hospitality public relations. Growing up, I loved traveling and checking into new hotels. Studying abroad in Florence, Italy, really sealed the deal for me. I knew then that I needed to integrate the world into my career.”
“My commute keeps me connected. I would be nowhere without my newsfeeds. Every day, I read Skift and The New York Times daily briefings, CNN, and Conde Nast Traveler. I save longer reads for the weekend. In our business, it’s essential to know what’s going on out there in industry publications, news media, and pop culture.”
“I couldn’t live without my passport and good music. My degree is in communications and public relations, but I have minor in music from Loyola University Maryland. I even considered a career in musical theatre. But I guess this is why New York City is the place for me. Our office is a short walk from Broadway, and there’s karaoke on every corner!”
