We’re Creating a Travel Vision Board
Danny Meyer said it best when he noted that “hospitality knows no gender or race.” We are members of the hospitality industry because we have a passion for people, for kindness, for warmth, and for community. Our community is hurting and our hearts are hurting with them. It is imperative that we continue to dream of our favorite vacations, of the servers and concierges that remember our name, of the hotels that feel like home, and of the meals shared with friends and family across the pond and around the corner. We must continue to talk about them and keep them in our hearts because we will weather this storm together – and when it has passed, we will travel again.
We want to take this time to share some articles that remind us of #ThePowerOfTravel.
Conde Nast Traveler still believes in travel and highlights “travel is also a state of mind, and that you don’t necessarily have to go far away to feel far away.”
AFAR published a beautiful love letter to the travel industry.
Danny Meyer has created a relief fund for all Union Square Hospitality team members. 100% of USHG gift card sales will go directly to the fund.
A note from Travel + Leisure and why they’re still writing about travel
Follow @CondeNastTraveller for their new #CNTEditorsLittleBlackBook series – a collection of the most amazing corners they’ve come across on their travels, picked by editors and friends in Italy, India, New York, London, the Middle East and beyond.
Fodor’s won’t stop writing about travel (even in a pandemic).
And while not travel related, here is a list of all the virtual concerts, plays, museums and other culture to enjoy from home.
We have also put together a digital ‘travel vision board’ on The Brandman Agency Instagram account @Brandmanagency. Check out our Highlights section for throwback photos from some of our favorite trips, and inspiration shots of our dream destinations and hotels. We have also included some links below to other Instagram accounts to follow for more daily travel inspiration.
